@elfennau and @Cynwise, see above; I'm not really sure that that approach fits what I'm trying to do. This project feels more like "I've got a map and two feet, let's see how far I get" than "I'm discovering the map". :)

I intend to do the same. Whether it gets posted anywhere or not remains to be seen, but my plan is to start at the north end of each zone and work my way south (Quel’thalas to Stranglethorn in EK and Winterspring to Silithis in Kalimdor). Will I actually DO it? I’m not sure yet. But that’s the plan. ;)

Start at your racial starting area and go through the zones as you remember leveling them for the first time. Try to get shots at different times of day, too!

Pick a racial starting area, follow it out into the world the way a new character would. :)
