I hate to defend noobs, but it wasn’t that long ago that a PW:Shield would prevent rage generation. The mechanic was changed in 3.1 to allow rage generation from absorbed damage.

@Skraps, that’s fair. :) And it was a pretty quiet change. But at the same time, people who know enough to know that PW:S used to prevent rage generation should know enough to realize that it doesn’t any longer. ;)
