@Daxlim, thanks for stopping by. :) I 100% endorse the idea that on a per-character basis, tier bonuses should be evaluated based on your individual playstyle. If you never use PW:S as a Disc priest (I'm not sure why you'd do that, but I guess I can see that it could be done), then this tier bonus is going to be totally worthless to you. ;) Unfortunately, it's not the sort of comparison I can rightly make at the moment; for medical reasons, I can't raid, so I'm probably never going to see Tier 10 anyway. ;)

I agree, too, that compared to other tier bonuses this is kind of a lackluster one, not only in terms of throughput but in terms of creativity (although again, that's based on looking at the bonuses and not seeing how they feel in play).

I usually calculate how effective the bonusses are by using my raid statistics.

Renew is usually 30% of my healing. CoH is 25%. So 10% over 25% is at least a bigger improvement than the original 5% over 30% would have been (glad they changed that). When I play disc, PW:S is usually around 50% of my healing, so 5% * 50% balances it out pretty well (though I do use shields as holy too, if there is no raid-healing disc priest, but not much).

What bothers me more is when I compare it to my shaman. My shaman tier 10 4x bonus is 25% increased critical strike bonus on chainheal. With roughtly 30% crit, that's a 11.25% bonus on an abilility that can easily be spammed 3 times in one cooldown of CoH. But just the fact that chainheal is a "bread and butter" spell is already saying a lot compared to CoH, which is just one of many. A shaman easilly get's +50% of his total healing from CH, so that's 11.25% * 50%, compared to a priests 25% CoH healing * 10%.

The 2x tier 9 priest bonus however, now that's a real bonus, so I would probably stick with 2x10, 2x9 myself and forget about the full t10 set.
